Dr. Lie joined Codornices Veterinary Clinic full time in 2019. He graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Tennessee. In 2018, he successfully completed the requirements to maintain his credentials as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP), specializing in canine and feline practice. Dr. Lie has a strong interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially infectious disease, endocrinology, dermatology, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and those fiendish international health certificates. He also collaborates with other specialists in our area. Dr. Lie lives with his wife, a three-legged cat named Nigel, and a mostly well-behaved San Jose street dog Kaweah. In his free time, he can be found running on the local trails, backpacking in the Sierra and beyond, or cooking and baking in the kitchen.
